The  INVEST ON YOUTH Network has been set up to strengthen collaboration among local youth led civil society organizations across countries to empower young people who are the most vulnerable and “left behind” in this historic period in Africa. This reflects

• Security Council Resolution 2250 (2015), urging Member States to Increase Representation of Youth in Decision-Making at All Levels

• Agenda 2030 (SDG5 Gender Equality, SDG10 Reduced Inequalities, All SDGs)

• TVET UE (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) and private sector development aid in Africa

• Localization (2016 World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul, as one of the key commitments of the Grand Bargain.
